How is this different from the USK600? The USK600 adds 6 selectable temperature presets for brewing different teas and coffee. This one focuses on fast, reliable boiling with a digital temperature display, without the preset selection.
Does it turn off on its own? Yes, it shuts off automatically once water reaches boiling, and has separate boil-dry protection if it's ever switched on empty.
